What is Congratulation Card?

1. Definition

Congratulation cards or cards to congratulate good things that happen to friends, relatives, or even family. Aside from showing that we are happy for the recipient, congratulatory cards build closer relationships.

2. Purpose

Giving prayers, wishes, congratulations or sympathy to the recipient in the form of a letter. The purpose of these greeting cards depends on the situation of the recipient. Like when sending a greeting card to a friend who is celebrating Christmas, the purpose is to congratulate them.

3. Structure

The greetings card structure consists of receiver, body, and sender.

• Receiver is who the greeting card is addressed to. Receiver is written at the very top of the card. Writing the recipient's name is usually followed by the words "to" and "dear.
• Body or content is the core part. Here the sender can insert congratulations, prayers and wishes, quotes, or even interesting pictures related to the greeting card theme.
• Sender is the sender of the greeting card. In this section the sender puts their name or initials.
